Navagraha Pooja

Navagraha Pooja is an essential Vedic ritual dedicated to the nine planetary deities—Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Mangal (Mars), Budh (Mercury), Guru (Jupiter), Shukra (Venus), Shani (Saturn), Rahu, and Ketu. This pooja is performed to reduce the malefic effects of planetary positions in one’s horoscope and enhance the positive influences.

The ritual includes lighting nine lamps, each representing a planet, along with offering specific colored flowers, grains, and chanting mantras unique to each graha. Many people perform this pooja before important life events like marriage, career changes, or housewarming to ensure celestial harmony.

Navagraha Pooja aligns the cosmic energies with individual karma, bringing peace of mind and stability in life. It also supports spiritual growth by helping one transcend astrological influences through awareness, devotion, and disciplined living. The ritual is often recommended during planetary transits or doshas in the birth chart.
