Griha Shanti Pooja
Griha Shanti Pooja is performed to invoke divine peace and blessings for the entire household, especially in times of conflict, ill health, or negative planetary influences. Unlike Graha Pravesh or Vastu Shanti, which are location-centric, Griha Shanti focuses more on resolving internal unrest and balancing the energies of the family members.
The pooja includes invoking deities such as Lord Vishnu, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha, and the Navagrahas. A key element of the ritual is the Navagraha Homam, which aims to pacify any planetary doshas affecting family life. Devotees also chant the Shanti Path, Gayatri Mantra, and other Vedic hymns to invoke serenity.
Performing Griha Shanti Pooja helps eliminate misunderstandings, increases bonding, and strengthens the spiritual foundation of the home. It ensures the protection of family members from unseen forces and aligns them to move forward with clarity and shared purpose. The pooja also serves as a symbolic restart, turning the home into a haven of positivity and divine support.
