Vishnu Pooja
Vishnu Pooja is performed to seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu, the preserver and protector of the universe. Known for maintaining cosmic balance, Vishnu is worshipped for health, wealth, protection from adversities, and spiritual progress. He is often invoked through his various avatars like Rama and Krishna.
The ritual includes offering tulsi leaves, yellow flowers, sandal paste, and naivedyam (offering of food). Devotees chant Vishnu Sahasranama (1000 names of Vishnu), the Narayana Suktam, or the Purusha Suktam to connect with the divine energies of preservation, order, and compassion. This pooja is usually performed on Thursdays or Ekadashi days.
Spiritually, Vishnu Pooja purifies the heart, enhances patience and humility, and invites divine grace into the home. His presence is believed to remove ignorance, sustain righteous living (dharma), and bring balance in relationships and responsibilities. The practice encourages surrender to the divine and trust in the universal flow.
